POINT JANUS is built on the principle of inversion. It is a piece in reverse, an yraropmetnoc dance, that questions the notion of no return and the vain desire to turn back the clock. The piece therefore begins at the end, with an irremediable act, a collapse.
The ruptures converge, the consequence leads to the action, and the trace precedes the movement. Traveling from death toward love, the performers reconstruct everyday gestures and objects, thus unveiling the motivations behind their actions through this inverted game.
The piece culminates at an origin charged with its future, and prompts the audience to reflect on the multiplicity of what is to come.
